About GPS
We suggest that you not use GPS to find the 1802 House.
Why?
The most convenient route to the 1802 House is the one shown below. It brings you through the village of Kennebunkport and there's usually some very minor congestion around Dock Square. Most GPS systems see that congestion and will attempt to route you around the village in order to avoid what is really just a minor slowdown. Some of those routes will take you miles out of your way, costing you far more time than simply driving through the village. In any event, if you are lost or delayed, just call us and we'll help!

From Maine Turnpike (I-95)

Take "Old" Exit 3 / "New" Exit 25 (The Kennebunks).  Take Route 35 South (left) towards Kennebunk/Kennebunkport.

Stay on Route 35 through Kennebunk, where Route 35 turns left followed by a quick right.

Continue on Route 35 south until you reach the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 35 and 9 (Sunoco station on your left).

Turn left onto route 9 and proceed over the bridge,  through the town of Kennebunkport until you come to a STOP sign at the intersection of Maine Street. Take your left onto Maine Street which will turn into North Street

 Our black oval sign "1802 House" will be about 1/4 mile on your left. Turn left onto Locke Street and proceed about 200 yards to the 1802 House.
