Well, the world is slowly starting to reopen even if it looks a little different. We made some calls, did some research and figured out exactly what you can and can’t do in our beautiful beach town of Kennebunkport.
Our bars and restaurants are open for takeaway or outdoor seating. We’ve worked hard perfecting our grounds to become the most romantic, gorgeous, scenic place to eat a take out dish. Old Vines has a large outdoor seating area, and if you take advantage of our 20/20 deal through the end of this month, you get a $20 gift certificate to spend there! The hurricane, a personal favorite of ours, has made an outdoor seating area in the back of their restaurant, sip wine and eat delicious food with a view of the river at sunset, is there anything better?
The views from the inn might just beat it! Snuggle up by our fire-pit with take away from any place in town, turn the fire on and enjoy the rolling hills of the golf course next door. Or, if you’d rather, sit on the rockers on the front porch and take in the views of our garden beds which are perfect thanks to the assistance of our newest family member Annie.
All shops are open and safely respecting all social distancing rules, don’t forget your masks! Browse art, books, souvenirs, beautiful clothes, all things pet related, and much more at any of the wonderful small, local stores. Our museums are reopening as well, so you can surround yourself with all the history this little town has to offer. Businesses in Kennebunkport, including us, have taken the Kennebunkport Promise to keep all guests, customers, friends, and family safe during their time with us.
Last but certainly not least, who doesn’t want to visit Kennebunkport in the summer and not spend some time in the great outdoors? Our beaches have reopened, our trails are open now, as are bike rental shops, kayak rental shops. Boat tours are resuming as well, so whether you bike here, kayak here, sail here, or drive here, Kennebunkport is the place to be this summer, whether you’re vacationing or staycationing! Make sure to book the perfect place to stay, and we’ll put the kettle on for you.
