Breakfast at the Inn
We at the 1802 House Bed and Breakfast Inn believe that a great breakfast makes for a great day here on the southern Maine coast. Therefore, a full cooked breakfast is offered to our guests every morning between 8.30 and 9:30 a.m. in our dining room.
Breakfast begins with assorted fruit juices, followed by a homemade muffin or scone and a seasonal fruit course or smoothie. Finally, you will be treated to the main entrée, which may include traditional fare such as Eggs Benedict or a plate of Maine Wild Blueberry pancakes with Maine maple syrup. Other guest favorites include Goats Cheese and Spinach Frittata or Belgian Waffles with Macerated Strawberries. Entrees will be accompanied by a protein such as bacon or sausage.
We are happy to accommodate our guests’ special dietary requirements including vegetarian, dairy free, diabetic and gluten free. Please provide us with a 48-hour notice of any special needs, so we will be able to meet your specific dietary requirements.
For our early risers who want to leave the inn before our scheduled meal, we will gladly prepare a breakfast-to-go for you that can be ready to pick up as early as 7:30 am. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice of your requirements so that we are best able to meet your needs.
A selection of tea, coffee and cold drinks are available throughout the day along with fresh-baked cakes and pastries in the afternoons.
